Swiss technology firm Hashgraph Group has introduced TrackTrace, a supply chain platform built on the Hedera network. The solution helps businesses comply with the EU's new Ecodesign Sustainable Products Regulation, which mandates transparency in carbon emissions, product sourcing, durability, and reparability data.

The platform leverages distributed ledger technology to create Immutable audit trails and uses AI for automated compliance reporting. Its launch coincides with the EU's Digital Product Passport initiative, which will require battery passports for electric vehicles by 2027.
